Publishing my first young adult dystopian novel, Units...

It's been a long time coming, but my very first novel is finally in publication.

I started working on my book, Units, almost two years ago.  I had quite a long break from writing during this time but I'm super pleased to say that book one in the series is finally finished and will be available via Amazon in eBook format as well as in print this week!

So, what's it all about?

Units is a dystopian young adult fiction story set a few hundreds years into the future.

18 year old Pearl is part of the Unit Placement Programme in

the city of Maineport.

Her duty in life along with the other Units is to work until

partnership. A Unit doesn't work for money. They work for

their right to live in a nanny-state society that's governed by

the Authority Project.

Things take a sinister turn for Pearl when she catches the

interest of an Authority who's intentions are not quite clear but

who hides a secret that could change Pearl's life forever.

Will she be able to keep out of trouble and abide by the

Authority Law whilst keeping her soon to be husband happy

or will she find herself on a path that causes more chaos than

it's worth?

It's dangerous when you don't follow the rules.

It's even more dangerous to fall in love.

You can take a peek into the first chapter of the book by visiting here

I'm currently on the hunt for book bloggers to read & review it so if you fancy a free book and have a spare afternoon or two free, get in touch and help spread the word.

Engagement Photo Session | King's Lynn, Norfolk | Photography

Leah & Shaun are saying their 'I do's' on Saturday & as part of their wedding photography package, included was an engagement session.

So last Sunday we headed over to the South Lynn Riverbank, which is a location rarely used for lifestyle photography but has an absolutely gorgeous setting.  I'm a little bit smug that It's somewhat of a hidden gem, because you won't know it's there unless you live in the area and walk into town and it makes for a unique spot for a photo sesh in a small town.

This beautiful couple have been together since they were teens and I'm so excited for them to be making their vows and marrying one another. These high-school sweethearts were so relaxed and natural in front of the camera and I just know their wedding photos are going to be
G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!

Enjoy xoxo

Gorgeous Living Room Inspiration: Yellow, Grey & Navy

It's coming time for a living room make-over in the Williamson household and I'm certain on the idea of using greys, yellows and navy blues.  It's a little different for me to be set on a certain 'theme' because I currently have pops of every colour under the rainbow here, there & everywhere!  I can never usually choose set colours but I'm in love with the contemporary but cosy feel of this palette.  I can't wait to start pulling it all together.

I just love these images for inspiration!

This rug is AWESOME.  I need it in my life!

My living room is quite similar shape wise.  Very English and very terraced house!  I love the shelving!

Perhaps a little too minimalistic for me but the frames on the shelf and the coffee tables!!! LOVE!!!

I would have never thought to use purple with grey and yellow but it certainly has the wow factor.  Look at the pops of colour everywhere! This is ideal suiting my modern vs traditional dilemma.

I really love this set up for the dining end of my living room.  We currently have a sofa in the corner, perfect for reading or some quiet time away from the main living space.  THIS would work perfectly in that area.

Sadly I no longer have a bay window, but I love this so much.  That sofa looks like heaven.
